One of Quinta do Crasto's two crown jewels. A single parcel of under 5 acres, named for the ancient Roman bridge beside it, with pre-phylloxera vines more than a century old. It is bottled only in exceptional years, and just 4,900 bottles of the 2019 exist.
Tasting notes: Brooding and stern in its youth, with deep dark fruit, layered complexity and a powerful structure built to age for decades.
Pairing: Prime beef, game, slow-braised lamb and truffle dishes. Decant 1–2 hours and serve at 62–64°F.
