Quinta do Crasto · Since 1615

400 Years of the Douro. One Night in Doral.

Quinta do Crasto has been making wine on the same Portuguese hillside since 1615. On October 26, the winery comes to Miami, and its rarest wines come with it.

The story

Where the river carves the mountain

In Portugal's Douro Valley, vines grow on terraces cut by hand into slate and granite, high above the river. It is one of the oldest demarcated wine regions in the world, and one of the most dramatic places on earth to grow a grape.

For four centuries, Quinta do Crasto has turned that hard, beautiful land into wines collectors chase.

Quinta do Crasto sits at the heart of it all. Its wines are the ones sommeliers talk about and collectors wait for. This is your chance to taste why.

The guest

Poured by someone from the winery itself

Miguel Roquette travels from Quinta do Crasto to lead the evening. He will share each wine with you himself, along with the stories behind the vineyards, the families, and the vintages.

Most people only ever read about these wines. You'll hear about them from someone who knows the estate from the inside.

The wines

Six wines. One journey through the Douro.

01

It begins with a welcome

Crasto Douro DOC Branco 2024

Grown nearly 2,000 feet up, where cool slate and granite keep the grapes fresh. It's crisp and mineral, and the perfect first sip.

02

A white with real depth

Crasto Superior Douro DOC Branco 2024

From the estate's high-altitude Quinta da Cabreira vineyards in the Upper Douro. Six months in French oak with lees stirring give it a creamy, generous texture.

03

The icon

Crasto Reserva Old Vines 2023

Up to 30 native grape varieties from 42 plots of vines over 70 years old. Harvested by hand, then foot trodden in traditional granite lagares, the way it has been done for generations. A benchmark of modern Douro red.

04

The legend

Quinta do Crasto Vinha da Ponte 2019

A single parcel of under 5 acres, named for the ancient Roman bridge beside it, with pre-phylloxera vines more than a century old. Bottled only in exceptional years. Just 4,900 bottles of the 2019 exist.

05

The masterpiece

Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa 2019

A terrace planted over 100 years ago, named for the first granddaughter of Constantino Almeida, with more than 50 native varieties growing side by side. Where Vinha da Ponte is brooding and stern, Maria Teresa brings power together with breathtaking aromatics.

06

The final toast

Crasto 30-Year-Old Tawny Porto

Decades-old reserves blended with brighter, younger lots, ending the night with three decades of patience in a glass.

The rare moment

Two cult wines. Side by side.

Vinha da Ponte and Vinha Maria Teresa are Quinta do Crasto's two crown jewels. They are rarely found in Miami, and almost never poured together. On October 26, you'll taste both in the same night, guided by the winery, and decide for yourself which one steals your heart.

Your evening includes

Six wines

A guided tasting from the welcome glass to the 30-Year Tawny.

The winery

Miguel Roquette, special guest from Quinta do Crasto.

Portuguese bites

Paired with the wines of the night.
