A benchmark of modern Douro red. Up to 30 native grape varieties from 42 plots of vines over 70 years old, harvested by hand and foot trodden in traditional granite lagares, the way it has been done for generations.
Tasting notes: Deep and concentrated, with dark berries, plum and spice, a firm but polished structure and a long finish.
Pairing: Grilled steak, roast lamb, Iberian pork and aged cheeses. Decant 30 minutes and serve at 60–64°F.
